Hose from Icore is light and bends tight!
Up to 40% lighter in weight than conventional integral firesleeved hose, and with an exceptionally tight bending radius, the latest Parker Stratoflex 101 PTFE hose from Parker Hannifin Corporation, Stratoflex Products Division, which is supplied in the UK by Icore International, is suitable for a wide range of low pressure applications in aircraft, including fuel and lube oil systems.
With a smaller envelope than other types of firesleeved PTFE hose, Parker Stratoflex hose is unaffected by virtually all fluids used in aircraft, and is suitable for applications where fire resistance is required. It has an exceptionally wide operating temperature range of –54ºC to +232ºC.
Available with tube sizes (outside diameter) from 0.188 inches to 0.500 inches, Parker Stratoflex 101 hose is supplied by Icore as complete assemblies, designed and fabricated to meet the user’s specific requirements. Since the hose is stocked and the assemblies are manufactured in the UK, timely deliveries are assured.
Utilising a three-layer construction that includes a corrosion-resistant steel-wire braid for strength and crush resistance, and a integral silicone cover, Parker Stratoflex 101 lightweight firesleeved hose has a working pressure rating of between 750 psi and 1000 psi, (51 to 69 bar) depending on size. All sizes are hydrostatically pressure tested at twice their rated working pressure.
