The Interconnect Systems Division of Zodiac Aerospace is unique in its ability to design and manufacture both electrical and fluid interconnect systems for high performance applications.
The reputation earned by our PTFE flexible pressure hose is amongst the finest in the business. We specialise in manufacturing to the most stringent specifications, where hose must perform in the most demanding circumstances, ranging from oil exploration and corrosive fluid transfer to military equipment.
From this technological background we have developed our aerospace qualified convoluted hose, designed specifically to meet the most rigorous requirements of this industry. Our range of aerospace qualified PTFE and elastomeric hoses enables us to offer capabilities in a wide range of fluid interconnect systems.
We also offer a custom service, working closely with our customers to optimise design for unique or specific applications found in any working environment, including complete system design, custom component design, prototyping and testing.
The Interconnect Systems Division can supply aerospace qualified or general purpose low, medium and high pressure hose for applications ranging from aircraft fuel systems, to military hydraulics or electronics cooling equipment, and (supported by our Crimptite® distributor network) for industrial applications such as chemical transfer or steam press applications.
Our standard range of aerospace hoses are designed to conform to current internationally recognised aerospace standards, but our ability to custom design has also allowed us to resolve difficult installation issues in a variety of specialised applications.
Interconnect Systems Division’s general purpose hoses have been designed specifically to operate in extreme conditions found in oil exploration, railway locomotive, bus and truck, automotive and military applications - as well as chemical and food processing.
Our Chafe and Fire Sleeves are designed to allow our hoses to operate in harsh environments where high temperature, fire and abrasive conditions prevail. The range of Sleeves includes Heat Shrink Polyolefin, Spiral Wrap PTFE, Integral Silicone and Tubular Silicone Fibreglass Fire Sleeves.
